Mie Aceh or Aceh Noodles


Mie Aceh is the cuisine spicy noodles typical Aceh in Indonesia.  yellow thick noodles with slices of of beef, meat goat or foods sea (shrimp and squid) are presented within soup a kind of curry who savory and spicy. Noodles are available in two types of Aceh, 
 Mie Goreng Aceh 
(fried and dry) and Mie Aceh sauce (soup). Usually sprinkled with fried onion sand served with chips, chunks of red onion, cucumber, and lime juice


Mie Aceh Recipe



Materials Mie Aceh:

200 grams lamb or beef
300 grams of wet noodlespoured boiling hot water
4 cloves garlicthinly sliced
3 red onions, thinly sliced
1 tomatocut into pieces
750 ml of water
300 ml beef broth
50 grams of bean sprouts
50 grams of cabbagesliced
1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
3 tablespoons cooking oil
1/2 teaspoon vinegar
1 leek, cut into 1 cm
1 bay leaf
Spices that are:

6 red onions
Cardamom 1 egg
4 cloves garlic
4 large red chiliesseeds removed
2 cm turmericburned
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Material Acar CUCUMBER:

3 pieces of cucumberseeds removedcut into pieces
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt
Complementary Mie Aceh:
100 grams of fried chips

To cook the noodles in Aceh:

Mutton boiled in water and bay leavesOnce cooked discard the waterCut into pieces.Set aside.
Saute garlic, onion, and herbs that have been crushed until aromatic. Add goat meatbeforeStir until blended.
Add tomatoes, sprouts, and cabbageStir until wilted.
Enter the soy saucesalt, sugar, beef brothand vinegarCook until absorbed.
Enter the noodlesCook until doneTowards removedsprinkle green onionsStir until blended.
Serve noodles aceh with pickle mentimun and emping fried.
